From October 22 to October 24, 2018, the Tyumen region delegation visited the Islamic Republic of Iran with a business mission. Enterprises of oilfield service industry, forest industry, systems of water treatment, production and processing of agrochemical raw materials (peat and sapropel) offered their products to the Iranian enterprises.
“The Iranians are interested in expanding the contacts with the Tyumen region in the field of oilfield service and engineering, said Anton Klimovich, Head of Subsoil branch of the Subsoil Management and Ecology Department, representing the government of the Tyumen region. Another area the Iranian party is interested in is the supply of Tyumen meat products as well as some other agricultural products”.
JSC GMS Neftemash, a manufacturer of oil and gas equipment, presented its products at the business meetings as well, proposing the possible areas of cooperation.
The Tyumen delegation visited the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, holding a number of talks in a business session format. The enterprises producing peat and sapropel as well as organic fertilizers (Liberta LLC, Zhizn LLC, Sistema LLC, StroyKomplektService LLC) demonstrated the possibilities of application of their products.
“These products are new for the Iranian official and business community, noted Anton Klimovich. Being a major agricultural country, Iran consumes a lot of inorganic, mineral fertilizers, so the Iranian market is a quite promising one for the Tyumen manufacturers of peat, sapropel and products based thereon”.
The delegation also visited the Alborz province, where the enterprises got acquainted with the agricultural and industrial production potential of the republic.
“Iran expects Tyumen enterprises, noted Anton Klimovich, and the Iranian business is set up for long-term cooperation. Our experience in cooperation with this country suggests that Iranians are notable for their responsible approach to business relations”.
As a result of the business mission organized within the Export Marathon project implemented by the government of the Tyumen region in cooperation with the Export support center and the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, some preliminary agreements on cooperation were signed.Source: Subsoil Management and Ecology Department of the Tyumen region
