The business mission of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI France Russie) visited Tyumen in the first days of November, headed by its Director General, Pavel Shinsky. This is the second visit of a like nature to the region over the past two years.
Apart from the Chamber executives, the delegation included the French business representatives: Decathlon, a developer, manufacturer and seller of sports goods; Legrand, famous for its electrical engineering goods; Orange, one of the global leading telecommunications operator; Sanofi, a renowned developer and manufacturer of cutting-edge pharmaceuticals; TechnipFMC, a provider of full range of services in the energy field; and other significant industrial structures.
Each of the visitors worked under an individual program. Some of them visited Antipinsky Refinery while their colleagues visited Elektrostal Tyumen metallurgical plant.
Sanofi representatives were interested in the Medical city, where a meeting with the management of the regional healthcare department and medical center experts was held. Bilateral meetings were also held with top executives of Tyumen enterprises and research organizations.
During the visit, the delegation met with Vyacheslav Vakhrin, Deputy Governor of the Tyumen region, where discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation.
