The growth is mainly ensured by a fast paced development of processing industries, at 108.8% compared to 2017.
There was an increase in the production of other finished products (2.1 times), medicines and materials used for medical purposes (139.9%), computers, electronic and optical products (120.8%), coke and petroleum products (115.2%), metallurgical production (114.4%), printing activities and reproduction of recording media (108.8%), production of other vehicles and equipment (107.4%), machinery and equipment (106.8%), motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (105.8%), food products (105.5%), rubber and plastic products (105.4%).
The mineral extraction index accounted for 113.8%.
“Our economy demonstrates high growth rates, primarily in industry, innovation and technology. Dozens of new types of production have emerged. Industrial parks are filling up with residents, and new jobs are being created. The development of the economy is the most important thing in our work, because without the economy it is impossible to achieve other objectives", stated Governor Alexander Moore.
