The Tyumen Region Government and the Gazprom Nedra Company Signed Cooperation Agreement

The region head, Aleksandr Moor, and the Gazprom Nedra, LLC CEO, Vsevolod Cherepanov, signed the cooperation agreement between the Tyumen region government and the company on December 3.

Main objective of the cooperation between the company and the region is the development of the sci-tech and industrial potential of the Tyumen region. The joint solution of issues concerning the creation of competitive samples of products and researches in the area of geological subsurface studies and gas production is slated.

Moreover, the Agreement stipulates for the parties’ interaction in the area of the professional personnel training system for employees with vocational and higher education, their training and proficiency enhancement.

“Currently, we have planned activities promoting the development of promising trends in science and engineering and, consequently, the improvement of the subsoil management efficiency. I am sure that significant experience and intellectual potential of the Tyumen region specialists will allow the increasing output of the hi-tech products necessary for the gas sector. By having signed the agreement, we have gained reliable partners via the region government for implementation of our projects including those in the sphere of information technologies”, Vsevolod Cherepanov said. 

Aleksandr Moor suggested the Gazprom Nedra Company to join to the oil-industry cluster project, which the region had started implementing the last year.

“This project helps to embody the entire technology creation cycle in the Tyumen region from scientific developments to their industrial production and integration. The oil-industry cluster joins the oil sector companies from various territorial subjects of the Russian Federation to solve common engineering tasks of all the participants,” the Governor emphasized and clarified that 45 companies from 10 Russia’s regions had already joint the project. “Such activity format may be successfully applied also for the extension of our cooperation.”

By the way, the first fact-finding step in this direction for the Gazprom Nedra, LLC may become the briefing with the Tyumen region enterprises at the TNF-Online platform. It will allow the company to tell about its needs and basic principles of procurement procedures, as well as to estimate actual capabilities of the Tyumen producers.
