Tyumen producers have exported agroindustrial products to the amount of almost USD 17 mln for 9 month of 2020. Herewith, according to the preliminary estimate, the total export scope this year will be USD 20 mln, which will exceed the planned figures. This was announced by the Deputy Governor, Manager of the Tyumen Region Agroindustrial Department, Vladimir Cheimetov during the plenary session at Tyumen Export Forum “Agroindustrial Products Export. Extension of the Agricultural Products Availability to External Markets”. The event took place in online format on December 2.
“During the pandemic, the agroindustrial facilities in Tyumen region have not stop their activity. While functioning under restrictive conditions, they have managed not just to maintain, but to increase the scope of the agroindustrial products export”, the Deputy Governor noted. Moreover, the Tyumen producers succeeded in extension of the sales geography. For instance, in 2020, the Yubileyny Agroholding has started exporting gluten (wheat advanced processing product) to Turkey and the USA, KRiMM Agrofirma LLC has executed supplies of potato to Serbia. In total, the agroindustrial products from Tyumen region are exported to 14 countries worldwide, including the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, China, Germany, Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Latvia, Turkmenia, Azerbaijan and Kirghizia. The Zavodoukovsky Oil Mill LLC supplying unrefined rapeseed oil to EEC countries and China performs the major fraction of export supplies.
Upon the Tyumen region government initiative, in 2019, the region was included into list of constituents, from the territory of which subsidizing of the agroindustrial products transportation is possible.
