The number of the Tyumen Oil and Gas Forum participants and its significance for the industry sector are growing from year to year. This was declared by Aleksandr Moor, the Governor of Tyumen Region, when opening the meeting of the TNF-2021 organizing committee.
“In 2020, about ten thousand participants took part in the forum despite any COVID-19 spread prevention restraints imposed in the region, in the country and worldwide. It is almost three times as much as in 2019,” the Governor recalled. Therewith, the representatives of other Russian regions and foreign states constituted the overwhelming majority among the forum speakers, experts, and participants.
Today, the forum makes the top three largest industry-specific business events in Russia. From year to year, its agenda is focusing more and more on such subjects relevant for our country and the whole world as renewable energy sources, carbon footprint control, new environmentally efficient technologies, Aleksandr Moor noted.
In TNF-2021 program, the issues related to interaction between the oil and gas industry and the military industrial complex will be considered, Andrey Panteleev, the Deputy Governor, said. In the current year, the combined exposition of the defense and industrial enterprises is expected to be displayed at the exhibition accompanying the forum. By the way, this year the exhibition pavilion floor space will be increased by 30%, as the number of the participants will grow considerably.
“Traditionally, the technological days will be held, under which the participating companies will be able to present their technologies and products to the oil and gas industry leaders. This format of business communication has long proved to be effective,” Andrey Panteleev noted.
The representatives of the Embassy of Republic of Kazakhstan, Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Power Industry Center of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, large oil and gas and engineering companies, financial structures attended the meeting of the organizing committee online. They have taken a serious practical interest in TNF-2021 and have come up with specific proposals to the forum program.
“Our common task is to make the Tyumen Oil and Gas Forum even more interesting and efficient,” Aleksandr Moor underlined.
