History of Jalutorovsk district is rooted in the depths of centuries. Hard-working, enterprising people of different nationalities and faiths have lived on the district territory since the dawn of time.
The district is located in the south-western part of the Tyumen region and borders with six districts of the region. The territory of the district is 2,847 sq km, the population is 17,5 thousand people. The district is located in the floodplains of rivers Tobol and Iset and is very rich in basins. The district consists of 15 rural settlements, uniting the residents of 39 municipalities. To each settlement, the roads with hard surface lead and almost all the rural areas and villages have year-round bus service. The vast majority of rural farmsteads are provided with natural gas.
Our district dominates in agricultural sphere. On commercial farm units, private farms the cattle, pigs and sheep number grows. With the growth of livestock and animals productivity performance and, consequently, the material situation of the rural population improves.
We sincerely love our district, are proud of its present and past, believe in its future. One of the priorities of our work today is the return of young people to their origins, their small motherland. To do this, we make efforts to create the conditions for the construction of houses, continue gas infrastructure development, improve material base for sports activities, strongly propagate a healthy lifestyle, the priority of family values.
We have a well developed infrastructure; there are rich deposits of peat, sapropel, sand and clay. This may attract many investors.
The administration of Yalutorovskiy municipal district is the executive-administrative body of the Yalutorovsky municipal district. It performs the executive and administrative functions in order to organize the implementation of laws, other normative acts of state authorities, legal acts and decisions of the Yalutorovskiy district Duma. The administration ensures the legitimate rights and interests of the entire district population and of the individuals. Reports to the regional Duma. Acts under the direction of the Yalutorovskiy district head.
