The mastered unique techniques of use of the stent-grafts allow to save the patients having pathologies of abdominal aorta, such as aneurism, dilation, disruption and stratification.

The method of transcatheter prosthesis of aortal valve is intended for salvation of elderly patients which can not be openly operated for any of several reasons. 10 similar operations are carried out.

Despite the development of endoscopic interventions in thoracic surgery, the combined endoscopic interventions with bronchial and vessels’ resection remains exclusive for the central federal clinics because of complexity of the surgical technique. The Tyumen Center of thoracic surgery is one of the few clinics promoting this trend. Today, on the basis of our experience, several articles are published in foreign medicine magazines and a number of reports on this subject are presented in international congresses. In 2016 more than 10 similar interventions are performed.

The organ and tissue transplantation is stage-by-stage introduced and this will be in the first place realized in PHF TR “Regional clinical hospital №1” with respect to renal transplantation. The currency of transplantology profile is caused by its high demand by the population of the Tyumen region: so, annually about 400 people undergo the vital procedure of hemodialysis, at the same time more than a half of these patients can get the radical help by renal transplantation. In 2017 about 30 such operations are planned.

The surgery block is equipped with up-to-date equipment to perform the operations and to monitor patients’ condition, including by laparoscopic racks of “KARL STORZ” make and the latest generation 3D-endosurgical system “EinsteinVision 3D Full HD”. In 2016 we began to practice 3D-endovideosurgical laparoscopic operations, including the radical extended colon cancer operations and extended rectum extirpations. Our set of equipment is third in Russia, remaining two are in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Since 2015 the surgical therapy of mammary gland cancer moved to a new level – it meets the highest standards and includes all types of plastic operations and lumpectomy technique (oncotomy of mammary gland without excision of healthy tissues) and selective lymph node dissection with research of sentinel node. This technique is unique and is applied (except the “Medical city”) in Petrov oncology research institute (Saint-Petersburg).

The Radiological center offers:

• Brachytherapy (high dose rate) of nasopharynx, rectum, mammary gland, external genitals tumors;

• Intra- and postoperative radiation therapy in brachytherapy mode (HDR) of soft tissues’ sarcomas;

• Radiation therapy of thorax and abdominal cavity tumors with breathing synchronization.

“Medical city” has one of the best radiological centers in the Russian Federation. Our center’s diagnostic capabilities allow to perform the positron emission / computer-aided tomography not only using standard radiopharmaceuticals (deoxy fluoride glucose), but also methionine and choline. This permits to examine brain (methionine) and prostate (choline), these organs can not be diagnosed by standard positron emission tomography with 18F- deoxy fluoride glucose (18-FDG). The unique feature of the Tyumen radiological center is the possibility of synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals using its own cyclotron what considerably increases the availability and our diagnostic features.

Thanks to systematic and versatile development of health care in the Tyumen region we’ve created the unique technological chains beginning with prophylactic medical examination of risk group patients to high-technology, comfortable and accessible screening of malignant neoplasms. This permits to reveal the fair quantity of patients having malignant tumors at early stages which can be operated with minimum use of invasive technologies and can be completely rehabilitated. The example of such technological chains is the observation of patients with mammary gland and gastrointestinal tract (GIT) organs pathologies. As for mammary gland pathology, all women are observed in the specialized mammology centers already at the stage of benign tumor. For early detection of mammary gland’s malignant pathology the total screening is carried out. If mammary gland cancer is diagnosed at early stage, the minimum injury rate surgical operations can be executed.

The diagnostic features of radiological center allow to remove only the tumoral-bearing, so-called sentinel glands. After such operations the patients are successfully rehabilitated by plastic surgeries all types of which the surgeons of “Medical city” can execute.

Another example - patients with GIT pathology. In the Tyumen region the screening of malignant neoplasms by examination of feces for occult blood and by endoscopic examination of stomach and intestine is carried out, and all screening endoscopic manipulations are performed under anesthetic. If carcinoma of stomach or large intestine is detected during screening the tumor is marked in a certain manner and operated with use of minimal invasive endoscopic surgical (including 3D) technologies.

Such operations permit to completely rehabilitate the patients in the shortest possible time.

Presently more than 50% of abdominal operations are executed in “Medical city” by methods of endosurgery.


The radiotherapeutic department has 2 electron accelerators, radiotherapeutic and brachytherapy devices.

In October 2014 in this industrial hospital the first in the Tyumen region latest generation robotized operating room ‘Da Vinci’ was open. To develop the robotic-based surgery the Doctor of Medicine, professor Alexander Zyryanov was invited here from Yekaterinburg. This most experienced surgeon became the first Russian expert who participated in 2007 in first operation where ‘Da Vinci’ was used. More than 200 interventions are executed.The doctors of "Neftyanik" annually improve their skills practicing in leading trends of foreign medicine during their trainings and broadened master classes. Feature of delivery of health care in this institution is the use of the modern high-technology equipment and of minimally invasive surgical technologies what allows to reduce the term of hospitalization and to decrease postoperative lethality, to rise the availability of rendering high-technology medical assistance to citizens of the Russian Federation.
